Picnic

Perfect

Happy #nationalpicnicday

There is something so appealing about a picnic-the baskets and blankets replace tables and chairs. Everything feels a little more portable and a break from routine adds a little magic to the meal. Even in quarantine, a backyard picnic can make the monotonous feel a little more magical.

Picnics are perfect for all people, from little ones to couples dining two by two. Low budget finds or fancy feasts can fill your spread. Sometimes the surroinding is the centerpeices and sometimes the food makes the surroundings seem more beautiful.

How can you celebrate #nationalpicnicday ? Incorporate a picnic celebration into your day with the following ideas!

  1. Come prepared. Don't forget silverware and plates

  2. Feel free to get fancy. The meal can be anything from finger foods to a five-course meal!

  3. Picnic following practice or play. Once you've worked up an appetite, it's a perfect time for a picnic.

  4. Get some "Facetime" with family or friends. If you can't meet with them in person, digitally gather the gang!

  5. Part the workday with a picnic. It will be a welcome break in the work day to take lunch beyond a lunchroom.
